Don't Know What You've Got?

That's perfectly normal.

Many interesting antiques are discovered during house clearances, when sorting inherited belongings or simply while clearing cupboards and lofts.

An object's age alone does not determine its value. Condition, maker, rarity, provenance and collector demand all matter.

Bring your item into the shop or contact us with photographs so we can discuss whether it is something we may wish to purchase.

Selling an Inherited Antique Collection?

We understand that sorting a family collection can feel overwhelming, particularly when you don't know which pieces are valuable.

Our team can help you consider what may be of interest and discuss an appropriate way forward.

We also provide related services for probate, house clearance and larger collections.

Why Visit The Antique Collective?

We're a real antiques shop with a genuine interest in the objects people bring through our doors.

Our team combines buying experience with an appreciation for the history, design and craftsmanship behind antiques and collectables.

If something isn't right for us, we'll aim to give you useful guidance rather than pressure you into a sale.
